Happy children's day, maaf zahir batin
wujud 2just watched a local indie production, wujud 2. a sequel to wujud. wujud means exists in malay. its basically about a team of ghosthunters going to places around singapore to look for ghosts and put it on film.
for the sequel which i just watched, viewers who have watched the first film are given a chance to be part of a challenge. these viewers, mostly skeptics will have to stay at a specific location for 5hours, from 12midnight to 5am. those who succeed will get a token of $500 bucks (this is an indie production anyways).
the events that happened seemed real to me, they had flown in a 'ghost pro' from indonesia whose duty is to call upon the ghost for the participants. she will also be the one to exorcise the ghost in case anything goes out of hand.
the locations where it is being filmed is not revealed, but if you know singapore well enough theres only a few places that would fit the bill, im not talking bout the much hyped old changi hospital, its mostly filmed in forested area all around singapore.
these places remind me of some trainings that i had before, however i may consider myself lucky not to have any first hand encounters with the paranormal. i have no ghost stories to share from my own ns experience, but had alot of stories that is shared by my colleagues, seniors and juniors. sometimes i wonder if they really exist or this production is just a hoax.
apart from the less than satisfactory sound quality, this production is a very refreshing concept indeed.
events unfolded- growth dividends are in.. yeah moolah!
- electricity charges up at least 20%
- newspaper price hike
reminds me of an army song...
goes something like this
they say that in the ....
the pay is very high
they give u 100 dollars
they take back 99.
yeah. how true.
im so glad to still be studying, with the state of world economy at the moment. hope that the sun will shine again when its time for me to join the working world. today we saw the passing of a true Singaporean, Mr Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam. RIP.
more good years ahead.
on a brighter note
happy holidaysmama had finished cooking hari raya dishes.. yeah! my most favourite part of hari raya is the food, nothing beats that. and the fact that i need to gain more weight because i think i lost some during the fasting month. one more hour to go.. yeah.
Happy childrens day! maaf zahir batin yeah!

Liverpool vs Man u
Is it just me or what, i think liverpool played better without captain fantastic stevie g. Everyone else upped their play without him. well done u mighty reds. monsterano bossing the midfield and alonso pulling the strings. riera had a good debut(told ya hes gonna start), watched his videos on youtube and he did exactly as expected and he played a part in causing the own goal, which was duely mentioned by the stadium announcer.
ryan babel is probably better played off the bench and his substitution had immediate impact and grabbed the winner with a lucky finish i must say. the ball was leaving the ground when he struck it. good work by masch pushing all the way and forcing giggs to do a clown of an error.
the line up i posted earlier was almost correct, with the exception of yossi. the back 4 is probably the strongest line up for liverpool.
epic failure

below are 4 questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them instantly. You can’t take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK?
Let’s find out just how clever you really are….
First Question:
You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?
Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are…?
Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.
Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total?
Fourth Question:
Mary’s father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What is the name of the fifth daughter?
Okay, now the bonus round:
A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and! the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?
First Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!
Try not to screw up next time.
Now answer the second question, but don’t take as much time as you took for the first question, OK?
Second Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?
You’re not very good at this, are you?
Third Answer: Did you get 5000?
The correct answer is actually 4100.
If you don’t believe it, check it with a calculator!
Today is definitely not your day, is it?
Maybe you’ll get the last question right…. ….Maybe.
Fourth Answer: Did you Answer Nunu?
NO! Of course it isn’t.
Her name is Mary. Read the question again!
Fifth Answer: He just has to open his mouth and ask…
It’s really very simple…. Like you!

Liverpool vs Man uCan a liverpool side deprived of the services of stevie g and torres beat a ronaldo-less man u side at anfield? RB is desperate for a win over our bitter rivals in the epl. torres and gerrard = 50++ goals last season while ronaldo was the chief supplier of goals for man u last season. both teams haven seem to get into the swing with scrappy wins from scrappy play. three days away from kick off. past encounters have seen man u grabbing the winner from the most unlikely of sources.

hopes riera can do for us what he did for man city 3 years ago, helping man city win against man u on his debut for them.
Paralympics
Singapore wins first-ever medal through Equestrian, Laurentia Tan bringing home the bronze medal. Congrats to her. Just some food for thought, she received $25,000 for her efforts whilst our olympic paddlers got $750,000.
A liverpool win would be nice.

Wall-e
Went into the cinema with high expectations, although i already knew that the first 20 minutes or so was going to be drag.
but came out rather dissapointed. it wasnt that bad a movie, still watchable though. presto, the pixar's short before the movie kind of set the mood for the main movie, it is kinda lame, imagine just for laughs but lamer.

training session on tuesday was the most fun although we went home with some bruises and a very, very sore neck, but heck it was fun. passed my ippt last saturday, wth passed. this proves that smoking and fitness have no relations whatsoever. and then the nike human race clocked in at 66mins. wth. again proves that smoking and fitness is not related at all. a one-pack-a-day me could get gold and finish 10k in 50min.
haha crap.
this paragraph makes no sense.

Zutons LyricsValerie LyricsMan City Takeover
i genuinely fear liverpool's champs league slot might be lost if they dont improve. we need more money, DIC please buy over from the yanks. Arabs will rule the epl. they might as well buy the whole league and play real life fantasy football.
Kevin Keegan did the right thing in resigning, respect.
